About Diane

Award winning artist Diane Reeves captures rich color harmonies and varied effects of light as she paints portraits, still live works, landscapes and florals.  She has developed her own unique style, combining confidence in execution with a fresh luminosity.  Although Diane enjoys painting a wide variety of portrait, figure, plein air and still life subjects, for the last few years she has focused on creating a specific body of work, primarily floral still life pieces.  Diane has now returned to painting a variety of subjects, and is especially excited to return to portraiture.  As a full time artist, Diane enjoys spending the majority of her time creating new works in her studio.  She is also a popular painting instructor, offering four to six workshops each year and teaching two classes each week at the Boca Raton Art School, in Boca Raton, Florida.

Diane is a member of Oil Painters of America, Portrait Society of America, Cecelia Beaux Forum, American Women Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society, and the Artists’ Guild of Boca Raton.  Her work has won national awards and has been featured in regional and national exhibitions, as well as in American Art Collector, Southwest Art and Travel Host magazines. Diane resides with her husband, David, in Boca Raton, Florida, and her collectors are throughout the US and Great Britain.
